The Exo Terra Terrarium Timer is ideal to automate the 24h daytime/nighttime cycle in your terrarium or to control on/off times of any terrarium plug-in device. Its 15 minute increments allow you to switch plug-in devices, like heat lamps, heat mats, hot rocks, rain pumps, etc…, on/off periodically during 24 hours. Simply push down the segments according to the time you want the device to turn on and how long you wish for it to stay on. The Exo Terra Terrarium Timer features a manual override switch to bypass the timer function and supply power permanently.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

1. Ensure the Exo Terra Terrarium Timer is removed from the wall receptacle.
2. Each timer segment around the timer dial represents 15 minutes. Push down the segments according to the time you want the device to turn on and how long you wish for it to stay on.
3. Turn the timer dial until the pointer is aligned to the present time.
4. Plug the device into the Exo Terra Terrarium Timer and then plug the Exo Terra Terrarium Timer into the receptacle.
5. The timer function of the Exo Terra Terrarium Timer can be switched off by moving the slide switch on the side of the timer toward “ON”. The timer plug will then bypass the timer function and supply power permanently.
